At this year’s conference, we feature keynote speakers who are renowned experts in the field of moving digital and image cultures.    

Andree E. Widjaja

Associate Professor, National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan
Associate Professor in the Faculty of Information Technology at Universitas Pelita Harapan, Indonesia. He holds professional certifications including Certified Executive Coach (CEC), Certified International Information Systems Auditor (CIISA), and Microsoft Certified Educator (MCE). A recognized researcher and educator, Dr. Widjaja has garnered multiple Best Paper and Best Reviewer awards in international conferences, and his work spans social commerce, cyber-psychology, social media, and management information systems.

Peter Hegedüs

Associate Professor, Griffith Film School, Australia.
Hungarian-Australian filmmaker, writer, and academic whose work explores themes of identity, social justice, and memory. He gained international recognition with Inheritance: A Fisherman’s Story, which was shortlisted for an Academy Award. Currently serving as Deputy Director for Research & Engagement at the Griffith Film School, Australia, Hegedüs continues to create impactful documentaries and immersive media projects, including Sorella’s Story, which premiered at the Venice International Film Festival.

Ren Si Jie

Metacarbon, China
represents a generation of designers who bridge traditional aesthetic sensibilities with emerging speculative media, particularly in the field often referred to as metacarbon art, a creative mode that integrates hyper-stylized character morphology, futurist symbolism, and immersive world-building for transmedia environments. In an industrial context, his role reflects the transformation of design personnel into transdisciplinary producers of intellectual property, where creators are not merely draftsmen but also world architects, brand strategists, and symbolic interpreters of culture.

Riri Riza

Film Director
Riri Riza is an acclaimed Indonesian filmmaker, screenwriter, and producer whose works have profoundly shaped contemporary Indonesian cinema. Best known for his collaborations with producer Mira Lesmana, Riri has directed several landmark titles including Petualangan Sherina, GIE, Laskar Pelangi, and Ada Apa Dengan Cinta? 2. Beyond filmmaking, Riri serves as a lecturer at the Institut Kesenian Jakarta and co-founded Rumata’ Artspace in Makassar, which fosters artistic development in Eastern Indonesia through initiatives such as SEAscreen Academy and the Makassar International Writers Festival.
